Hello, friends!  

I hope you are able to participate in some Field Day fun with Mrs. Delgrosso!

Last week, some friends said they would like to have a 1:1 Zoom call with me to read me a few pages from a book you have at home. I have sent an email to your parents with a sign up page for our 1:1 zoom. This is just an option and we will still have our weekly group Zoom call at the usual time. Feel free to attend one or the other - or both! 

We will play another scavenger hunt game during our Zoom call on Wednesday. See you there!

Find your name and click on it. Enter your password. I have emailed your parents your password and it will be the same each week. You should now see your personal screen. I made this one for my daughter, Caroline.

Look carefully - how can you tell that it is her own screen? 

Now click on the purple planet called "Reading". 

You will see this screen 

Click on the little space ship called "My Assignments"

You will now see your reading page. The assigments I have given you are at the bottom of the page.

This week, we will be reading one story from Learning A-Z.  We will also have a Scavenger Hunt during our zoom call on Wednesday.

The story we will be reading is called Can I Vote?. It's a realistic fiction story and it will teach you about the voting process in the United States.

You will be brought to your student home page. Scroll to the bottom and click the purple button at the bottom of the page which says Reading Assignments.

 You will now see your Reading assignment page:

Please answer the questions at the end of each book. You will get special points for reading and responding and I will be able to see your progress. Enjoy!
